About us
Our Little Steps Pre-K team delights in serving the next generation. The children of today will be the leaders of tomorrow! We, at Little Steps Pre-K, believe it is our responsibility to provide children with the tools needed to succeed in this phase of their lives and their journey forward — beginning with their preparation for future school success. Our goals are to make an impact, enrich our students' educational experiences, create faith-based child development programs, and prepare 3 and 4-year-olds for kindergarten and beyond.

We regularly minister to the children about the love of God with an enunciative focus on the family and the preparation they need for their next adventure into formal education.
The Living Word Church has been ministering in Jarrell since 2019, and desires to make impact in our community, especially among families. ​And to that end, we are committed to partnering with families to meet the needs of young children in our community. The Living Word Church understands the importance of faith-based education in our day and hour and is honor-bound to provide a distinguished, outstanding program for your children.
Pastor
Pastor Joe Stephens
Pastor Joe has been a pastor for 25 years. He has extensive experience in working with people of all ages, nationalities, and backgrounds. He has pastored churches in Texas, California, and the nation of Greece. He is an experienced administrator with a Master's Degree in Administration and a B.A. in Nouthetic Counseling.

Brooke Stephens
Brooke has grown up in the church community and has a heart to teach and invest in the next generation. As a child in church or "church kid", and then growing into an adult, she sees the needs of the children that may not be properly addressed regarding learning, care, and ministry from a unique personal perspective.
After graduating from high school at 16 years old, she acquired her Cosmetology license and worked within that industry for a few years. Then, after working in the banking industry, she decided to follow her heart and enter into the childcare and teaching ministry.

Coordinator
Julie Stephens
Julie started her career in childcare in London, England. She took care of the many Physician's and nurses' children in an onsite hospital childcare facility serving 'Guys Hospital' in the London City Center. Over the last 28 years, she has served in church ministries in three different countries, with a heart for childcare and youth ministries.
